Workshops & Events
ABHES provides a variety of training workshops throughout the year for its member institutions and programs; schools interested in applying for a new grant of accreditation; and those who just want to learn more about ABHES and its accreditation procedures. Workshops include evaluator and team leader training, the revised accreditation manual orientation (a detailed overview of the revisions made to the NEW Accreditation Manual, effective January 1, 2010), and the accreditation workshop.
Notes: • A representative from each campus seeking an initial or renewed (member schools with grants expiring within a year) grant of accreditation is required to attend the accreditation workshop prior to submission of the Self Evaluation Report (SER). • A 25% discount off of the conference registration fee will be awarded to those who register to attend both the accreditation workshop and the conference being held in February 2010. • Registration for all workshops requiring payment must be completed no later than January 8, 2010. An overall $50 late fee will be assessed for each person registering after January 8, 2010 for all workshops requiring payment. Register early, as space is limited. |
