  • ATTENTION

    • You may only register 3 people at once for the events listed below (Workshops, National Conference, and Golf Tournament). If you wish to register more than 3 people for the conference, you will need to complete the registration for the first three and then start the registration process from the beginning. The system will only allow you to process registrations in increments of 3 for any of the events listed.

    • If you plan to register multiple people for different events, please read carefully and be prepared to provide the required contact information for each person.

    • Registrants who also register for an accreditation workshop may also qualify for additional discounts off of the Conference registration fee. The discount will be automatically applied when registering for both events.

    • To receive the discounted registration fee for the Conference you must register multiple guests at once. SCHOOLS THAT FAIL TO REGISTER MULTIPLE ATTENDEES "AT ONCE" CANNOT SEEK THE DISCOUNT AT A LATER TIME.

    Workshops & Events

    ABHES provides a variety of training workshops throughout the year for its member institutions and programs; schools interested in applying for a new grant of accreditation; and those who just want to learn more about ABHES and its accreditation procedures. Workshops include evaluator and team leader training, the revised accreditation manual orientation (a detailed overview of the revisions made to the NEW Accreditation Manual, effective January 1, 2010), and the accreditation workshop.

    Notes:
    • A representative from each campus seeking an initial or renewed (member schools with grants expiring within a year) grant of accreditation is required to attend the accreditation workshop prior to submission of the Self Evaluation Report (SER).
    A 25% discount off of the conference registration fee will be awarded to those who register to attend both the accreditation workshop and the conference being held in February 2010.
    • Registration for all workshops requiring payment must be completed no later than January 8, 2010. An overall $50 late fee will be assessed for each person registering after January 8, 2010 for all workshops requiring payment. Register early, as space is limited.
       

    ABHES National Conference

    Please join ABHES for its 7th Annual National Conference on Allied Health Education being held February 10-12, 2010. The conference schedule has been amended to include a new extended format which includes more breakout sessions with dynamic speakers that feature topics of interest and benefit to health care institutions and programs. The conference is being held at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    SOLD OUT Golf Tournament

    Please join ABHES for its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament being held 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at the Royal Links Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tournament is being held just prior to the 7th Annual National Conference on Allied Health Education.

    $150 per person (includes green fees, box lunch, 18 holes, golf cart, scoring, cart signs, scoreboard & GPS system, transportation to and from the resort to the course, snacks, tax and gratuity.)

    Clubs featuring the latest in Callaway equipment and shoes by FootJoy will be available to rent by cash payment to the golf course at the time of play. Fee for such rental is not included in registration fee.

    Workshop Late Fee Disclosure
    All workshops requiring payment must be received no later than January 8, 2010! All registrations received after the deadline will be assessed a $50 late fee per person.

    Refund and Transfer Policy
    If you register for an event requiring a registration fee and are not able to attend the event, your registration can be transferred to another person or you may cancel in writing. In either case, please send written notice to ABHES postmarked no later than January 8, 2010. A $50 processing fee will be retained for all cancellations. Workshop fees can be credited toward a future workshop at no additional charge. No refunds will be made for cancellations made after January 8, 2010.
