Northwest Career Colleges Federation
The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) will participate in the Northwest Career Colleges Federation’s (NCCF) annual conference on June 3-4, 2009, at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Washington. Events ABHES will participate in include:
Wednesday, June 3, 10am – 12pm (no fee or registration required)
∙ Overview of the revised Accreditation Manual
∙ Group and individual meetings with ABHES
The revised Accreditation Manual, including policies, procedures, and standards, is effective for applications made January 1, 2010, and after. Soon to undergo final editing, the revised Accreditation Manual is expected to be posted in late June. Preview the key revisions to the accreditation standards and their applicability to institutionally- and programmatically-accredited schools during this session.
Following the Accreditation Manual overview, approximately one hour will be devoted to answering any questions and discussing any areas of interest either as a group or individually. This is a wonderful opportunity to discuss with ABHES areas of interest to your institution or program.
Thursday, June 4, 1:30pm – 2:45pm (registration through NCCF is required)
Placing Graduates in Challenging Times
ABHES will participate in a panel discussion focusing on the economic challenges facing our accredited institutions and programs and its effect on students.
