Practitioners are most in demand for the three fields ABHES accredits programmatically (MA, MLT, ST). Part-time or evening faculty may practice during the day and program directors, faculty, and externship or placement coordinators are urged to use their contacts at externship sites and advisory committees to solicit practitioners to become involved in the accreditation process.
If you are interested, or know of a program specialist who may be interested, in attending this training session, visit www.abhes.org to complete the registration form. Please e-mail the completed registration form to Evaluator@abhes.org. Space is limited! We will continue to promote upcoming training workshops being held throughout the year.
If you are not able to attend an upcoming workshop, but are interested in serving ABHES as an evaluator, or know of someone who may be interested, please visit www.abhes.org, Evaluator link, to learn more about the minimum qualifications and training requirements to serve as an ABHES evaluator. All site evaluation visit-related travel expenses are reimbursed and a small daily honorarium for participation is provided.
While serving as an evaluator requires time away from work and home, the benefits of participating in on-site evaluation visits are immeasurable. Participating on an evaluation team is an invaluable experience. We hope to see you at an upcoming workshop and on a site visit!
