Annual National Conference Video
November 29, 2010
In an effort to acknowledge the continuing accomplishments of ABHES-accredited institutions and programs, we invite you to submit pictures showing the good deeds done by your students on behalf of their communities, using the skills learned at your institution. We will also accept short videos (maximum 10 seconds). A compilation of this footage will be used as the opening video for the 8th National Conference on Allied Health Education, February 9-12, 2011, in New Orleans.
As examples of types of photos, students participating in free blood pressure screening and donating their time and contributions to cancer awareness. They assist with food banks and participate in emergency management drills. In this difficult economy, we are increasingly hard pressed to find individuals who are happy to donate their time to help others less fortunate. We know that students at ABHES-accredited institutions and programs shine! Let us see how your students put their health-care training to a good cause.
The video will highlight how our institutions and programs play a pivotal role in local communities by illustrating the types of highly qualified students, ABHES-accredited institutions and programs are consistently able to attract.
Please submit pictures and videos (with brief caption highlighting the institution and event) to me at email@example.com as soon as possible and by no later than January 5, 2011.
