ABHES Workshop Update (3/11/2020)
ABHES would like to provide an update on the April 2020 Accreditation Workshop being held April 24, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia in relation to COVID-19. We are monitoring warnings from the CDC, WHO, and local agencies and will continue to closely review the need for alternative plans. At this time, the workshop is still scheduled to be held as planned. We urge all attendees to keep informed on risks, precautions, and symptoms to make educated decisions.
The hotel will continue to monitor travel bans and notes there is not currently an active travel ban in Atlanta. The hotel is taking precautionary measures at the hotel and will have hand sanitizer stationed at the entrance of all meeting rooms. The individual guestroom 72-hour cancellation policy still applies, please click the Marriott Wide Statement https://marriott-re-2019ncovc.com/ for additional information.
ABHES will continue to monitor the situation as well as look into alternative presentation options. Should anything change we will immediately advise registrants. Should you not be able to travel to the workshop and would like to apply your registration to the September 2020 Accreditation Workshop being held in Tysons Corner, Virginia, please contact Amy Rowe, email@example.com at you earliest convenience.
