A 2021 survey of college students reported that at least 70% of students are motivated by social justice. Opportunities to engage in social justice conversations and activism with faculty, staff, and student peers may influence a student’s career decision and their selection of a higher education institution. This webinar will discuss recent publications and discussions debating the role of accreditation in addressing the expectation of social justice infusion into healthcare training. Other topics will include best practices in terminology, community engagement, and implementation science related to justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity. (2 pm EST/1 pm CST) This two-hour course is sponsored by ABHES for its affiliated members and organizations.
