04-08-2009New ABHES Commissioner Appointed

Randall J. Nicola, President of Healing Mountain Massage School, Salt Lake City, Utah, was recently appointed to the Commission of the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) in a recently vacated ownership representative. WOULD YOU LIKE TO SERVE AS AN ON-SITE EVALUATOR FOR ABHES? March 13, 2009 The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) continuously seeks new evaluators to ensure a continued pool of qualified and trained individuals to serve on site visit teams.  Educators and practitioners in numerous health care disciplines including, but not limited to, medical assisting, medical laboratory technology, surgical technology, dental assisting, diagnostic medical sonography, and radiologic technology, are urged to become involved.  We are anxious for program directors, faculty, and externship or placement coordinators to use their contacts at externship sites to solicit individuals practicing in these fields to...More
